Tipical Cuisine















Located in the heart of the Po Delta, "Corte Papadopoli" offers exclusively home made local dishes as a way of tasting old culinary traditions ,such as : "salumi" (salt porks), "gnocchi al ragù" (potato dumplings with meat sauce), "pappardelle alla campagnola" (typical pasta with peas), "farfalle al radicchio" (typical pasta with chicory), mixed meat grills, "coniglio alla cacciatora" (rabbit in a
special recipe), "anara in tecia" (stewed duck) and many other hand-made delicacies. Amongst the culinary specialties the most representative are: traditional "riso alla cannarola" (rice with beans) that once upon a time the sugar cutters took with them to the lagoon and which constituted the only meal for days and days of hard work. Maria Cristina prepares the meal exclusively using the Carnaroli products from the rice fìelds of the Polesano Delta, and it is much appreciated for its particular sweetness.
